Can anyone suggest a relatively simple (intermediate maybe?? more than beginner, but not expert :lol: ) pattern for a winter shawl/capelette/poncho? Something that you could use as a wrap over a nice outfit but that would also keep you warm...

I can knitt. My mom taught me when I was like 10. I have bags of needles and yarn randomly in each of my houses (mom, dad and jersey). Im just not a good knitter. I forget to count stitches and drop stitches all the time. I suppose I would get better with practice. I should bust them out and practice....

I am looking for patterns for my mom to make something. :)

Oh, I didn't know you could knit. Sweet! Even though I can knit, I still have my Mom make me things. :heart:

I have a book of patterns at home for Prayer Shawls. You obviously don't have to use them for praying. They are super pretty and comfy! :) They are knit with the cozy Homespun yarn. Sooooo soft! (The yarn is a PITA to knit with, though)
