why does "everyone" seem to think that matt forte and maurice jones-drew are top 5 picks, and stephen jackson right after?
ladainian tomlinson a 2nd rounder? are you mad?
has joseph addai really fallen to the 4th/5th round with the likes of willie parker? is larry johnson even getting drafted?
I hate jay cutler and the broncos are going to be dreadful.
frank gore? honestly? I wouldnt pick him before the 7th round.
there's like 7 good receivers in the league....none of them named harrison, holt, owens, ocho cinco, houshmazilly, etc.
was the knee really the end of carson palmer or was he a product of the schedule?
check it, chump. obv. the 1st pick. 10 team PPR, 2rb/2wr, 1 flex rb/wr.
QB - Ryan, Roethlisberger
RB - Peterson, Jacobs, McFadden, Lynch, Ch. Taylor
WR - Jennings, V. Jackson, R.E. WIlliams, Chambers, Harvin
TE- Carlson, Winslow
K- Keading
DT - STEELERS

I took Addai for that very reason... I figured if people were going to let him fall that far, it was okay with me. I knew I would get him!
I did take Stinko though...but he was the last receiver I took

I like everything except your 2nd receiver. Percy Harvin is a nice pick, and could prove valuable. Depends on Favre, though.
Love Ryan. While he's not elite, he is definitely in the top 7, imo.
Peterson goes without saying. I hate the Giants but I do love Jacobs. Hopefully he can stay healthy. McFadden is interesting, but he'll surely be facing 8 man fronts every game. Luckily, he plays the Broncos and Chiefs twice each. Dont like Lynch at all. Taylor nice insurance.
Love Jennings. I'd put him top 4. Not big on Jackson. I think R E Williams is passed his prime, but will probably work against single coverage as I assume teams will give Safety help to any LB trying to cover Witten. Chambers, meh.
Carlson and Winslow are serviceable. Nothing spectacular, but better than most.
Stellers D is probably the best. Kickers are kickers.
I took lynch to avoid too much handi capping (bradshaw, fargas/bush) I figured in week five i'll have a fresh back.
I had to take V. Jackson there, and someone has to catch River's TDs.
I got Winslow in the last round.
I liek McFadden, he's a freak. AP was facing big fronts fro his first two years too... I know OAK DT isn't any good, but they almost HAVE TO improve from last year.
Chambers was the only guy left with two legs, and on the field for every play. If he or Jackson gets hurt the other improves by default.
I was not expecting Jacobs to be avaialbe at pick 20/21, and Roddy white, and Steve Smith, who i preferred were the last two picked before me. so I had to go RB.. I wanted to go WR. Jacobs just rates too high for me there.

Had my draft last night. 10/10 pick. Standard scoring, no flex, no ppr...QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, K, D
QB: Cutler, Bulger
RB: Addai, Parker, Mendenhall, McCoy, Sproles
WR: Fitzgerald, A. Johnson, Berrian, D. Jackson, Breaston
TE: Shiancoe, Scheffler
K: I forget
D: Chicago (Our defensive scroing is weird. you only get points for a shutout, sack, int, fumble, and TD's so I went with the bears cause they score a lot on defense even though they can give up lots of points)

you eat the cheese from under my ball sack.
I'd like to play you every week :p
hate Culter, who catches apsses there? Bulger spends more time on his ass than his feet.
Addai.. meh, he wasn't good when they were running the ball. Parker... you needed mendenhall, good pick. McCoy and Spoles have upside. but no NOW.
Fitz & Johnson... the best players noone ever sees play.. def the tittybombs. the rest are servicable, for sure
standard sleeper picks at TE - like my Carlson
yes, that is weird.

I hate cutler too but whatever. he's good enough.
addai is going to blow up. I love it. no one likes him but me. I cant wait to rub it in everyones faces. gonna own. LT aint gonna last, and westbrook never does. I already got Parker covered.

Kurt Warner - We've seen what he can do when he is healthy. Hopefully he can stay that way. The addition of Beanie Wells should help the offense and soften the defense a little. However, Edge has always been a good receiver and blitz picker upper, something that is often difficult for rookies and could be a problem.
Roddy White - Big on him. Definitetly top 10.
Chad Ochocinco - Eh, I think his better days are far behind him. Child, please.
Steven Jackson - People are very high on him this year. Me, not so much. 8 Man fronts all year. He can catch though, so if youre going PPR he has more value.
Joseph Addai - love it.
Chris Cooley - solid.
Torry Holt - his better days are long behind him. could be productive though, especially with that runnign game...should open things up.
Ray Rice - nice option. He'll likely be facing 8 man fronts as well though, cause t hey have nothing at WR.
Matt Cassel - hate him.
Darren Sproles - nice option
Ricky Williams - nothing stellar, imo.
Mark Clayton - see Ray Rice
Neil Rackers
Minnesota
Dallas
Solid team. Not thrilled about some of the options, especially the 2nd WR, but you never know.
you eat the cheese from under my ball sack.
is that befroe or after you're balls deep in the banana cream?

do I go with Parker vs. Ten, Mendenhall vs. Ten or Sproles vs. Oak?
I am leaning towards Parker because I think the Titans are crap and overrated. However, Sproles could get garbage time stats.

rough week 1 so far :undecided:
didn't realize a QB could be used in the OP position. My WRs suck

I am crushing piperstash. I hope I win. He still has a few player to go, though. I didnt even think to use a qb in the op position. thats how smart I are.
I got crushed in my pay league. I think I scored the least points of everyone.
will Miami hold Dallas Clark under 100yrd? can they keep him out ofthe endzone?
I'm up by 25 going into tonite. WTF with Jennings? did he even PLAY?
halfstar
09-22-2009, 09:20 AM
good luck on that clark bit.
I dont know what happened to jennings. came up horrible. did he get hurt or something?
rogers says it was timing. i think it's cause rogers sucks.
in any event Matt Ryan or Ben Roethlisberger?

two losers you got there.
I should have started d jax over either of my two other wr's (fitz/ a johnson)....still would have lost. I went against brent celek. I need a better TE. thats where I lost the game.
should have started big ben, I'd have it won already. Last minute i decided that I wanted Ryan in there.
actually mcfadden instead fo Roy williams, and I'd be done too. now I have to see if williams even gets a look from Homo, tonite. oi.
halfstar
09-28-2009, 12:42 PM
huh? you started williams, yes? he should go for 100 and a td. or did you start mcfadden and his 3 fumbles?
i started williams... if i started mcfadden I would have won already. i just need williams to not die. 1 35 yard catch and I'm to the good.
I played against Gore & Owens, thankfully. I have 3 vikings on my team, peterson scored the least points of the 3 (taylor, harvin)
well, he dropped his TD, but got enough catches / yards. the cowboys really suck.
halfstar
09-29-2009, 12:06 PM
I was surprised by how bad both teams were, actually. the cowboys suck and have no direction or authority it seems. the pathers just straight up blow.
unwatchabel, agreed.
now I have 4 rbs on byes for week 9, can I get ronnie brown to go down before then? my only options currently is ricky williams. lulz
I don't wanna make a trade cause my team is def the tittybombs, so far.
halfstar
10-01-2009, 05:23 PM
my team blows. I need 2 of the following:
mcgahee @ ne
addai vs sea
buckhalter vs dal
parker vs sd
mendenhall vs sd
sproles @ pit
I am leaning towards mcgahee and buckhalter.

I'm trying to put one of them in a trade to make it easier. where the hell did this Pittsburgh passing game ceom from? result of schedule alone? he'll be wheeling and dealing again this week vs. MINN fo' show
