My mom is having surgery again tomorrow. Doctors found a new brain tumor (this would be #5 in a 10yr-long, ongoing battle) right before Thanksgiving so they want to remove it before it has a chance to grow any bigger. Some may remember she just had one removed last Feb that wasnt in the brain, but lodged behind her eye. I'm soo weary of going through this but you dont get much of a choice in these situations. All I've been trying to focus on is a smooth operation and quick healing for her while trying to get rid of these nagging feelings of anger & frustration I've got over the whole thing. This time, its even manifested in physical illness for me. Awesome :rolleyes:. This doesnt get easier the older I get like I thought it would once upon a time when I was way more naive.

Please send all the good vibes you can spare for her, and some calming ones for me. Thanks, you amazing women you :heart:

I do remember last time and she came through w/ flying colors...keep those colors in mind as you stand by her side being as brave as possible.
I also remember you doing all you could to surround yourself and her w/nothing but positivity and love, and I know that helped her to reach her successful recovery.

She came home today :)
It was a long weekend of hospital visits and extended family time (which is always a test of nerves haha), but I survived. Making homemade chicken soup now while she sleeps. thanks to all for the kind messages...it was such an uplifting thing to read.
