would anyone actually need all 3 in their kitchen?? couldn't one of these do the same job as another?

yes / not always. the motors could be interchangeable, but

you can get sliced apples out of a processor, apple sauce from your blender and juice - no pulp from the juicer.
not too sure it you could swap them around slices from the juicer etc.

i only have a blender, well 2 - one for the house, one for the car/vibes

my blender has a juicer, but i haven't tried it yet. i have a ridiculous number of these appliances, actually...a spice grinder, hand blender, magic bullet, blender/juicer, mixer...

it sure WOULD be nice to simplify

I need all three. I juice with the juicer. no pulp, carrots, celery, apples, etc... You cannot juice like this with a blender.

I need the blender to make soups sauces, milk shakes, blended things...

I use the food processor for grating cheeses, grating veggies, pureeing steamed veggies, etc,

I tried to puree in the blender, but I had to add too much liquid, and it took too long...

my blender is now a blender/foo processor combo. same motor, for two appliances.

but I still have my old blender, the juicer, a citrus juicer, a citrus reamer, and now an ice cream maker too....

I need to get rid of my old blender...too bad I use it!
