Looking for friends, and a ride!

Hi there everyone, hows it going? My names Joey/Joe.
I didn't want to have to do this, but it looks like its my only choice.
I bought my ticket for the vibes as soon as they went on sale.
I was sure that I'd be able to go with ONE of my friends...
But here we are just 3 weeks away...
and none of my friends plan on going. :dunno:

This has me pretty bummed out. Not only do I not have a ride to the vibes, which I've been looking forward to all year, but not one of my friends will be going this year. I have no one to camp with. :crying1:

This is the one vacation I've been looking forward to all year. Even if I do somehow find a ride, I don't know how much fun it'll be camping all alone... Plus I'm pretty sure I'll lose my campsite if I don't have anyone to venture off with... :P So I guess what I'm trying to ask... Is there anyone here willing to add an extra buddy to their campsite?

I'm willing to help pay for gas, and definitely some festivities while we're there! All I'm looking for is a ride up and some nice people to hang out with, go to the field area to listen to some tunes, maybe play some djembe drums, (although I'm not that great) play some cards, you know... I'm looking for some cool people to make friends.


I should probably tell ya'll a little about myself.
I live in Meriden CT. (Thats we're I'll need a ride from, or around there)
Male, I'm 18 years young. Totally free spirited, kind, artistic.
I just started silk screening, I'll have a Vibes T-shirt for everyone!
Looking to camp in a non-family section IF POSSIBLE. :wink1:
(But I'll take any kind offers and will adjust my "Fun" to your morals)
I don't mind sharing. That counts for food, and drink, and whatever too.
I don't mind camping with older people, listening to stories, joking around.
I'm a fun, helpful, smart kid I think.
Definitely wouldn't mind chilling with some people around my age.
Will be bringing a small load. Will bring anything you need me to bring.
Have everything on the "recommended list" if you don't!

So if anyone finds my problem interesting, please post here, or PM me. I'm begging you guys! I'll be so :cencored: devastated if I can't get to my second festival and have a good time while there. :[ Really hoping someone can help me out.

Sorry man, I should have mentioned this before.
I have a weekend pass for General Admission.
I definitely don't mind getting there on Thursday though!!
Also would help set up camp and what-not.

OH and by the way, if anyone is interested, as far as I know there are two openings for the clam bake right now? I definitely wouldn't mind purchasing a spot for myself and one other person willing to carpool me up and camp out. Sound good to anyone?

It's just under 2 miles. You can probably get a bus or a cab if you don't want to walk.

...and I don't know those neighborhoods well enough to suggest walking.

PeaceDude we have a vibes shuttle from the BP station to the vibes, you dont have to walk.

The shuttles run from 8am - 2am, Thursday through Saturday, and 8am - 10pm on Sunday, to and from both the Port Jefferson Ferry and the Transit Center (train and bus).

I'm trying to do this in the most polite manor but I feel like I'm coming off as a care free kid. I really don't mean to put you guys on the spot or bring you out of your way just for me so if anyone is uncomfortable with it then just let me know when I contact you because I don't want to be a burden to any of you at all.
I feel terrible, I don't like relying on others. At least not people I've never met.
