So, we had found THE perfect caterer when it was to be in Greenville. When the reception site was sold, we didn't think they'd travel further away to Keene. I just spoke with them, and they will!!!! Woo hoo!!!
This is the menu we're thinking of picking:
The Shish Kebab--$18.95
--Choice of 3 of the following--
Tequila Lime Swordfish
House or Burgundy Black Pepper Sirloin Steak
Chicken--Vidalia or Lemon Pepper
Sausage--Kielbasas or Country Style
Greek Styled Lamb
Chef Suggested Sides:
Tossed Garden Salad or Greek Salad
Pine Nut Pilaf
Fresh Baked Dinner Rolls
Strawberry Shortcake
We'll go with the Steak, Chicken and Lamb (Lamb is Trav's favorite!) And for sides, we'll do the Pilaf and Salad.
I'm so excited! We're meeting with them on Sunday!

Just chiming in due to my experience. I would steer clear of the sirloin steak at your price point. Even at far greater price points, like $75 a head, most caterers use fairly crappy quality beef. Crappy quality beef can be made decent if it's marinated properly and cooked to order, but for a large function like yours, plan on it being on the dry/chewy side.
I spent almost fifteen years wringing every dime I could out of people working in this business, so I know all the dirty tricks
