i mean the type of guy who needs to put strong women in their place, so to speak. i seem to run into this more often than i care to.

generally speaking i'm just doing my job or having a simple discussion when i run into this. if i'm in attack mode, that's different. :)

theories on these types of males?

i think there are as many reasons for that as there are for anyone else's poor behavior. upbringing (or rebelling against upbringing), societal norms, ego, small penis (joking!), bad past experiences, what have you...the why doesn't matter, really, except from a purely intellectual/curiosity standpoint.

IMO it's no more acceptable than any other rude behavior, especially in this day and age. explaining it doesn't excuse it, you know?

hahaha .. i'm pms-ing AND had to deal with a guy like this, this past weekend who i KNOW has self esteem issues. (in fact his 'gf' always acts terrified .. and that freaks me out)

normally i can brush it off, it's his issue not mine, but since i am the 'co-chair' i HAVE to deal with him, not that i don't like him enough to work with him, but don't try to act like a macho shithead when we're supposed to be working together for a good cause. this cause isn't about your ego.

also, i'm not a puritan and i have no intention of acting like a puritan women .. ever. fantasy over!

i love you chicks!
