it was just a juggling sun's tshirt, I cut the top off (sleeves and all) which made it more of a tube top, put on the seaquins (broke the needle on my mom's serger which I still dont know how to fix it either) um then added 2 triangles to the sides to flare the bottom. (also Jill helped A LOT :funny1: )

Well, the pink one is from superhooper, so whatever they use. And the purple one I actually wrapped it with fabric ribbon, gift wrapping ribbon, and grippy black tape! It was Christmas time...:xmas:

It held up ok, I used pretty strong adhesive. Plus it's fun to rewrap every once in a while!

they're on a spool near the "notions" aisle in your local fabric store
they were awesome too, square ones (which i've never seen before) on elastic, to keep the shirt up. When you stitch them around the top, you stretch the seaquins as you go, that way you'll have a tighter fit. :wink:
So when you stretch and it pulls the top tighter, its like having elastic around the top of the shirt. :)
so super easy, just BE CAREFUL bc seaquins tend to bust needles easily :joker:

I had it shipped naked and did the tape job myself. I did a thin layer of sparkle tape, then a strip of photoluminescent on both sides of the sparkly stuff (so it'll glow in the dark), and then cloth tape on both sides of that. I'm pretty freakin excited about it.

so ~kristin~ and i started taking this hoop class last week, it is really awesome!!! first let me say, hooping is totally becoming a fad for workout people (think jazzercise type people).....id say kris and i are the only "hippies"(/burner/hooper as we know it) in the class.....lots of 30-somethings, a few older women, and a group of hs/college kids who came together....

it was awesome though, started w/ a full stretch, some sit ups, followed by 15 min of straight hooping.....then we started to learn some tricks, but hoop the whole time.....its an hour and a half class and its the best (excercisy) i have felt in a LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!
