Lately, I have been in this rut.
I haven't been eating well.
I have been needing like 10 hours of sleep a night to feel ok.
I have been procrastinating like a mo' fo.
I am working on getting out of it but I feel like I have so much to do.
I simply feel stuck.
Anyone have any ideas how to get out of this?
Any ideas to procrastinate less?

OMG.
Welcome to my world, Britt.
I feel like you just morphed into me when you wrote that.
We are so very much on the same page, it's not even funny.
I wish I had a clue about how to get over this feeling of overwhelm.
I honestly don't even know where to start...
I hope we both figure some shit out soon.
I miss my shine, it's been too damn long..
I miss your shine too, Britt:heart:

Just unable to get things done I want to get done.
Lack of motivation.

so..medicinal salves?
or wild edibles?
or both?
or a cool wilderness story to get folks excited?

I think I will go with the wilderness story to start off, then next issue I'll talk herbalism/wildcrafting/salves...good?

Sounds good to me.
I think you should focus on one for the first one.
The salves is good.
And I like the name you mentioned in the email.

Today, we begin our process of getting unstuck!

That looks very good actually.
I am going to have to try that.

I have been eating poorly lately. I fell off the eating well path.
I am slowly getting back onto it.
It does make me feel different.

I got super motivated, and then totally unmotivated

Last week I had a super clean apartment, this week a total mess!

I have been on the up sweep latley.

I find making a to do list helps me get things done...get little things done, cross them off, and it gives me the motivation to do big things(like clean out the icky fridge)

I really need to get motivated soon becuase I think there might be a friend or 3 crashing here today, and I need to have a fridge full of food and a clean place for them to lay thier drunken heads

change around the furniture for a fresh look at life
clean a small portion of your home at a time and make that one corner/spot look great
its not unusual to feel stuck at the end of winter; winter is a time of rest. with spring comes renewal (and a crapload of rain)

also, don't forget to try new things
it can be as simple as driving a new route to work or something challenging like starting those horseback riding lessons you always wanted to take.
the more challenging, the more boosting usually. especially if you succeed.

First accept and observe the stuck feeling. Do not waste any energy in beating yourself up over it.
Second, mjeditatively try to trace the feelings all the way to their roots.
I would recommend tracing each feeling separately, although they all may
lead to the same root.

As you know, the surface manifestations can almost seem unrelated to
the real root of the issue.

All best wishes.
