My son Jonah (11) and I went bowling tonight. He bowled and I ate fried food and smiled at him. They have a new air hocky table and we played one game with no winner until the time ran out. My face and hand hurt from smiling and playing. It was much fun :)

Brooke (5) is smiling with the cutest cheeks I love to smush against

Coraline movie was pretty good.

Brooke walked outside this morning and said "It's like SPRINTER" because it was so warm. Then proceeded to explain to me what she meant by that

Jonah totally played me last night. He is getting good at pulling at my heart strings to get what he wants

On Wednesday the kids are gone for 12 days for Winter break with Dad. I miss them already

I miss my kids. I should be getting my son up for the bus soon but they are with their Dad for Winter break :( I made it a week but now I miss the shit out of them to the point of tears. I know my son is fine but my daughter misses me. My son said she had a bad day on Saturday and when I talked to her yesterday she sounded sad. BUT she was sitting right next to my son so I am sure she is fine

My son has been asked to join a poem club. One of only two boys and he laughs about it but knows it's cool. He told me on the phone he is getting upgraded a belt. He is yellow and will now be orange :) I get to put the belt on him in the ceremony since Dad did the first one. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I can't travel anywhere for the weekend because of it but it will be sooooooo worth it :jamguy:

I miss my kids  BUT I hope they are having fun with their Father :) Everyone deserves a break and they deserve to spend time with him too. I miss them though :(

I dropped my daugther off at school and found out that they said her name over the load speaker this morning because she turned in a nickle on the playground  She is also wearing a dress today for the first time at Kindergarten  I hate dresses but hey it's her life

My son is up and riding his bike all over town. He made it all the way to the lake by himself yesturday which is about a mile and half from our house. I'm scared but am soooooo happy he has been liberated and is out and about.

I'm off to my new college to see why they won't let me register for more classes. I'm going to ride my bike again as it's only a couple miles from my house. I am sooooooo excited to go back to school. All my classes are when the kids are in school and it is all going to work out GREAT :)

My daughter woke up in the middle of the night with ichy feet that hurt. I tried to get her on the bus after putting some lotion on her feet but she cried so I let her stay home and took her to the doctor. Apparently she just has sore feet from all the stuff we did have done since Saturday morning with the good weather  New bike, sprinkler after school yesterday, etc. So yeah I guess my pack has sore pads and I should give them a break :funny1: Sore pads on a 5 year old girl  AWE  This is the first time she complained at all

Dear Jonah,

I'm sorry I sent you to school looking like the kid from Christmas Story. I had a chill last night and read that it was going to be between 45 and 34 today. This morning I dressed you like you were going out into the frozen tundra and I sat at the bus stop and hour later with just a hoody on :funny1: I can't wait for you to yell at me that I over dressed you when you come home from school

Love,
Crazy Momma

I'm just loving my daughter this morning. I can't get enough of her cheeks and energy.

When she puts a puppy between her legs while sitting on the floor she declares the "Brooklyn Zoo" open

My son walks to school. He wakes right up. Gets himself dressed, brushed and cleaned. Then he walks to school. He is such a big good boy

I threw out the candy I bought yesterday so I don't eat it

---The following in an emal I just sent to my son. He is at his Dad's until Sunday and miss him so much right now

I'm at school and this guy had the same shirt as you. The one with all the superheros on it. I said "My son has the same shirt". He smiled. I moment later I asked him if he goes to the Coyotes Den (he looked like a gamer) and he said yes. I said "I'm Jonah's Mom". His eyes lite up and said he is very found of you. You are a good person and hope to see you more often at the Den. He is going to try to go on Saturday. I said you go on Saturdays from Noon to about 4pm. Then he said you looked just like me. It was a very nice moment that touched my heart and made my pride in you swell up and brought a tear to my eye. We then talked about computers since that is his major and we discussed my old outdated computer skills....yadda, yadda, yadda. It was cool. His name is Gary and he made me promise that I would tell you that he said hello.

Thanks for always making me so proud to be your Mother :)

Love ya,

Proud Momma of Jonah

Today I will take my son's car bed apart cuz he is too old for that stuff and I will clean all the plastic playsets out of Brooke's room cuz she is too old for that stuff. They are growing up so fast. I love that car bed. If it was queen sized I would put it in my room. Oh well. I'm sure whoever I give it to will love it too. Now I have to save up for a new bed for Jonah. Until then he'll have the mattress on the floor deal.

I took the kids ice skating here in town. I always wanted to take them for open skate but I have a leg problem that doesn't allow me to skate or ski. I was afraid my daughter would need my help and wouldn't go by herself but of course she was awesome. She never got off the ice except to pee once the whole 2 hours of open skate. She wanted to go back again the next day but both kids were one big bruise and she had a already healing blister on her foot. My son went around the rink here and there and talked to his friends and fell on the ice in theatrical ways.

Next year I think I will get Brooke her own pair of skates. It's a little late in the season this year.

They are growing up so fast

So Jerry is my Ferris Bueller. I can never tell when he is actually sick, or pretending to be sick. So yesterday he wasn't feeling well (I think) and he was telling me about all his symptoms and how icky he felt. So in the middle of this, Abby, who was washing the dishes, yells out, "Wait a minute. I've got something I need to say about this!" I ask her what it was and then I watched her as she decided not to snitch on her brother, and she went back to washing the dishes in a huff.

My son smells. At first I thought he didn't shower at his Father's house but then I realized he is starting to smell. He is turning 13 on 4/13. He is making powerpoint presentations that are better than my professor's. MAN are we getting old

I took my daughter to see Alice in Wonderland. She promised me she will NEVER get married and we will always be best friends
