I'm pretty sure this hangs in our craft room :funny1:
most boys are stupid...and incapable of apreciating a good woman.
but there are those who are worth it
Erin, I hope you find the one worth all the trouble....makes a BIG difference

a little too much.
you find a good boy, a nice boy, train him well (they need a bit of training, don't get discouraged if it takes a little while ;) ) and you end up with a good man

 TOTALLY my New Years resolution...one of my good friends told me to stop referring to them as boys and instead focus on attracting GROWN men into my world and watch what happens...

seriously i feel the same way. i have a male friend who has changed his whole life because his new girlfriend is "training" him..... obvi he wants to be trained otherwise he wouldn't be in it... but it makes me look down on her, like why be with someone you want to change, don't you want to be with someone for who they are, not for what they have the potential to be?

ditto that! i know Summer was joking (mostly  ) but i learned my lesson once about waiting for someone to become who they always said they really want to be...let alone who *i* want them to be.
and let's be honest...are any of us willing to change who WE are for somebody else?
i know i'm not. i like who i am, faults and all. and i want to like HIM, too - i mean REALLY like him. not see "potential" and then set about fixing and fine-tuning the rest. heck, if we're going to spend our lives together, i'd better like him a great deal more than i like most people...otherwise, what's the point?
going into a relationship or deepening an existing one based on expectations of them changing deep-seated attitudes and habits is just setting yourself up for disappointment.

I agree for the most part w/thug ...although..I think women are trained in american culture want to "change" men.
and although Im loathe to admit it.....Some of us DO need a little training..(but isnt that true of both sexes?)Jemita, you are an awesome woman! when you find Mr. right you'll know..
I NEVER thought I'd find true love...but it snuck up on me!!!!
my advice..enjoy being single! cause once your taken you cant go back!lol (and if its the right person you wont want to!;-)

as the mother of a son, I really hate that tshirt.
How about one that said "girls are idiotic, beat them till they bleed?" :undecided:
it just seems so wrong that violence against women is wrong, violence against men is encouraged and laughable.

no one is perfect. i take training to mean that everyone has flaws and its abt love and compromise and bringing out the best in one another

yes, men are stupid. They always think they're right about everything (they rarely are).

i would probably freak out if a guy came into my life and tried to 'train me' .. after i ate his liver and dumped him on the side of the road i'd probably forgive him .. maybe id have to run his ass over a few times first though :D
i think what summer meant was more on the lines of learning to compromise together ;) .. i totally agree with that, but that's something we both would be doing together.
