Camping
Our parking staff will help get you situated when you arrive and will guide you to your camping area. You'll have enough room to set up a decent size tent and a "chill zone," but we ask you to be reasonable and considerate. Please don't bring more equipment or bigger tents than you need. Weather permitting, advance ticket holders will be car camped.
If you'd like to camp with people other than just those riding in your car, make plans to meet up at a convenient location before you get to the show and caravan to the site with your friends in tow. Please do not make plans to meet at the venue as there is no convenient place near the park to pull over and wait. Upon arrival, you will be directed through ticketing and the vehicle search, then into the camping area. We cannot guarantee all cars that caravan together will be parked together, but we will do our best to try to make it happen for you. Give our ticketing/parking crew a heads up about which other cars you're with when you arrive.
Some camping will be in tree-filled areas, some on the water front, and some on wide open fields. If you want a definite shady spot to set up camp, bring tarps and poles or easy-up tents for your chill zone.
Seaside Park is blessed with flushable toilets throughout the venue. We will also have plenty of port-o's around the site as well. There are permanent showers on site, and we will also bring in shower trailers and will be building some of our own. Bear in mind that just about everyone wants to shower in the morning, so think about showering later in the day or at night for shorter lines (and hotter water!)
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring acoustic instruments, but absolutely no amplified music is allowed in the camping area. Hand drums and acoustic guitars are great for the campsite; amplified Fender Strats are not.
Due to the fact that RVs 25' and under will be camping in the general camping areas, we need to let you know that generators will not be allowed to run. It is against code to allow generators in regular camping areas. Only RVs in the RV area will be permitted to use generators.
Open fires will not be permitted, it's for everyone's safety. Charcoal grills are OK. You will also be allowed to use propane grills that are less than 10 years old and have a 20 lb (5 gallon) tank or smaller. Anyone bringing a grill must carry a fire extinguisher, inspected within the past year. Tiki torches are considered an open fire and will not be permitted. For a complete list of rules, please visit The Rules page.
Lost & Found - Our Camping Coordinators have developed a most efficient Lost & Found system, which has helped to return hundreds of lost items to the Vibe Tribe over the years. If you've lost (or found!) anything at the event, please stop by Camping Headquarters, fill out a report, and we'll make every effort to reunite you with your misplaced belongings. After Vibes you can inquire about Lost & Found items at: lostandfound@gatheringofthevibes.com
