Jazz pianist and composer Kevin Hays has recorded over a dozen CD's, including 3 critically acclaimed recordings. His 'Seventh Sense' CD was recognized as one of the 'Top 40 Jazz Releases of the Year' by Musician Magazine and praised by The New York Times. In addition to his own projects, Kevin has worked with Joshua Redman and Grammy Award Winners John Scofield, Sonny Rollins and Joe Henderson. His band at the Vibes consists of some of Jazz's heavy hitters: New Orleans all-star & Grammy Award Winner, Nicholas Payton on trumpet, Bill Stewart, best known for his work with Scofield and Maceo Parker, on drums, bassist extraoidinaire Doug Weiss, and silky smooth guitarist Peter Bernstein. Adding her world-renowned soulful vocal stylings to the session, Hilary Smith will complete the ensemble.
