Discovered at an open mike, singer/songwriter Jackie Greene is a captivating performer who worked countless clubs and bars before his discovery, a fact made more interesting when it's considered that he was a teenager during that time. A multi-instrumentalist, this California native played most of the instruments on his debut record, "Gone Wanderin'". A soulful bit of roots music, the album brought him to a national audience. In the fall of 2007, Jackie Greene was asked to join Phil Lesh and friends after Phil first heard the young songwriter while he was listening to the radio in his car. Jackie's band is made up of Jeremy Plog, Nathan Dale, Uncle Bruce Spencer.
